The Pilot Jacket was inspired by early versions of a vintage military zip-front Deck Jacket and the U.S. Naval uniform of William Lawrence Dehen (more lovingly known as Big Bill and son to Dehen founders William Peter and Celia Dehen).

As Dehen tends to, this durable and good looking jacket stands on the shoulders of something old and original. The 12 oz. Slate cotton with a dry wax finish, milled in Scotland by Dehen's friends at Halley Stevensons, is the perfect fabric for this piece. It's a nod to the weather resistant fabric of early Deck Jackets, while presenting a handsome and finished look.

So whether you want to beat it up in the great out-of-doors, or just wear it around town, it's ready for you. Just be prepared for the compliments!
